While we're all used to seeing Smart TVs on the market nowadays, Smart Monitors are still a new trend. LG is getting on board with this concept in 2024 with a new round of ‘MyView' 4K Smart Monitors, offering the same webOS functionality we typically see on LG TVs.
The LG MyView smart displays enable users to enjoy movies, TV shows, sports, music, and even work remotely without requiring a PC. The 2024 models, which include the 32SR85U, 32SR83U, and 32SR70U, boast IPS 4K screens and will be available in multiple colour options, including white, beige, pink and green, something we typically don't see in the monitor market, where most displays often use black casing and stands, with the odd silver or white option here and there.
The latest LG MyView displays use 31.5-inch, 4K (3840×2160) IPS panels. The displays feature a slim form factor with a practically borderless design on three sides, enhancing the viewing experience and saving space. The 32SR85U and 32SR83U models feature an adjustable stand with a circular cutout, while the 32SR70U has a low-profile base for a compact and appealing look. The 32SR85U has been awarded a CES 2024 Innovation Award, a 2023 Red Dot Design Award, and a 2023 iF Design Award.
LG MyView monitors facilitate remote work and home entertainment with webOS 23, offering access to a vast and expanding catalogue of popular streaming services, productivity apps like Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar, and wireless screen mirroring compatibility with AirPlay 2 and Miracast. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide internet access and connectivity to compatible devices. Additionally, the 32SR85U features a detachable FHD webcam.
