It has been almost two weeks since the Overwatch open beta came to an end but the official launch for the game isn't too far off now. For those that want to hop straight back into the game the second servers go live, Blizzard has announced its launch times for different time zones across the world.
Just as the open beta did, Overwatch will launch on all platforms in all regions at the same time. While Blizzard's servers on launch day have historically struggled in some games, things seemed to hold up fairly well during the open beta, which saw 9.6 million players jump in, so hopefully things will go smoothly next week.
Here are the EU launch times:
- 00:00 BST May 24th.
- 01:00 CEST May 24th.
- 02:00 MSK on May 24th.
Here are the launch times for The Americas:
- 4:00 p.m. PDT on May 23.
- 5:00 p.m. MDT on May 23.
- 6:00 p.m. CDT on May 23.
- 7:00 p.m. EDT on May 23.
- 8:00 p.m. ADT on May 23.
- 8:00 p.m. BRT on May 23.
- 8:30 p.m. NDT on May 23.
- 7:00 a.m. SGT on May 24.
- 9:00 a.m. AEST on May 24.
- 11:00 a.m. NZST on May 24.
And here are the launch times for Asia:
- 7:00 a.m. CST
- 8:00 a.m. KST
- 8:00 a.m. JST
KitGuru Says: Given all of the buzz surrounding Overwatch, it will be interesting to see how many players across all platforms log in to the game on launch day. Are any of you planning on picking up Overwatch when it comes out? Will you be playing when servers go live?

Sadly I won’t be playing. It’s a shame that it’s not a free to play game like team fortress 2 is like they said it was going to be when they were originally talking about the idea… with the WoW expansion and the moving coming up I’m already paying Blizzard more than I should be lol so no extra non-ftp games for me. Now the new Heroes in Heroes of the storm… omg I can’t wait to play Medivh next month. So looking forward to that.
F2P = more cheaters and abusers. $40 for a polished game seems like a good deal to me. HoTs is free cause it just fits the game better. I’d hate to pay for every new map or hero that comes out, so im glad they said the extra content will be free.

I didn’t like it! Cannot see what makes it so special especially when Team Fortress is free.
