Yeah, the ‘Founders Edition’ or ‘EAT – Early Adopters Tax’ cards seem quite constrained in the power department due to the single 8-pin plug. Wait a couple of weeks for the aftermarket cards and they’ll fix this (and have better cooling to boot)

Won’t matter if it’s 3 x 8 pin if nvidia keeps the same power restrictions as they have for the past 3 generations. Voided warranties and custom bios is the only way to circumvent those restrictions.
