At this point, many of you will have read the reviews for the GTX 1080 and some of you may also be planning on picking one up. If you're aiming to grab one on day one, then I am pleased to report that they will be in stock and available at 2PM (UK) today over at Overclockers UK, so consider this your early bird warning!
From 2PM today, Overclockers UK will have a selection of founders edition and non-founders edition GTX 1080 graphics cards at various price points. OCUK will even be keeping their warehouse open later than usual today in order to ensure all orders placed today are boxed up and ready to go.
Aside from the GTX 1080 itself, Overclockers will be running a few deals to mark the occasion. For starters, there is a free delivery code for your entire order today, which includes Saturday and Sunday deliveries so you can receive your new GPU before Bank Holiday Monday.
Secondly, there is also a sale on some G-Sync monitors, including the Acer Predator XB270HUD 27” monitor for £374.99 and the Acer Predator X34A monitor for £899.99. Far too expensive.
For £430 like the GTX 980? Would be half decent value. But for £620? Effectively, this changes nothing for price-performance (20% more performance than the 980Ti for 20% more £££…). Disappointing pricing, tbh.

I noticed that KFA2 are releasing an almost completely unmodified GTX1080 just so they can sell it for £100 less than the founders edition at the minimum MSRP xD smart move KFA2
Then don’t buy an overpriced founders edition when there are higher clocked aftermarkets for the exact same price or stock clocked aftermarkets for £100 cheaper?
I know Founders edition is more of a joke than usual but do people seriously ever buy reference cards?
At this rate the 1080 Ti is going to be £1000
in the US its £450 :/
nah they’ll just lower the price of the 1080 then.
1080 feels like its a titan. Certainly costs as much.
