Computex: Cooler Master shows off new ‘Master’ products for 2016

Last year at Computex, Cooler Master launched its new Master series products, aiming to bring brand new designs and innovation to its line-up. This year, Cooler Master has truly embraced the Maker spirit, showing off a whole new range of products set to arrive this year.

Master Case WM Master Case 2 WM

First up is the new Master Case 5 series, which has gained another member- the Maker 5 T (for Turbo) which comes in a two tone red and black finish with a carry handle on top. There is also a with Micro ATX model Master Case 3 and taller Master Case 7. Each model retains modular features, keeping in spirit with Cooler Master's new ‘make it yours' slogan.

Master 240 WM Master 120 WM

The second new addition Cooler Master began showing off this year is the Master Liquid Pro 240 all-in-one cooler, which was completely designed in-house. It uses a thin 240mm radiator with hybrid fans designed to offer a good mix of air flow and pressure. There is also a 120mm version with two fans set in a push/pull configuration. This range will be expanded to include 140mm and 280mm versions in the future we have been told.

Master Air WM Master Air 2 WM

If air cooling is more your thing then there is also the Master Air and Master Air Pro, there are different numbered editions based on the number of heat pipes you want. The Pro version has a black top plate as well as thicker aluminium fins to help dissipate more heat.

I find the top left one looks ok(though am tired of any maker only using 2 usb ports use 4 bloody hell) though that top right one is fugly to me, as well the master air 4 I find same cause of the little wings on the fans, all these makers say “we make the best because yada yada” just release them and let those who buy them say how good it is or isnt, be interesting to see how their fully in house designed liquid coolers are though pricing wise am sure any “master” series is def higher cost then competing products

like Asus ROG, Coolermaster “Master” seems like same “premium branding” master 5 thermal paste is actually quite good from what I have read on multiple sites, not class leading but reasonable cost for much above average performance which is great 🙂
