We have been hearing more and more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recently, from the name, to the release date, to the internal specifications and now, we also know exactly what the phablet will look like thanks to an image posted online recently.
Last month, EVLeaks/Evan Blass tweeted out some new information about the Galaxy Note 7, confirming the device name and some specifications. This past week, he returned, tweeting out this image showing off the upcoming smartphone in full:
The image above confirms Samsung's ‘Black Onyx', ‘Silver Titanium' and ‘Blue Coral' models of the Note 7. The device will come with an Iris scanner as a new form of unlocking the device, which can be seen in the image above on the left.
Other details we currently know include a 5.7-inch 1440p Super AMOLED display, 64GB of storage plus a microSD slot, a 12MP camera on the back and a 5MP one on the front as well as an IP68 water and dust protection rating. We don't know exactly which CPU Samsung will be using but we can assume that it will be an eight-core Exynos chip, perhaps slightly more powerful than the one in the Galaxy S7.

KitGuru Says: Here in the UK we missed out on the Galaxy Note 5 due to the launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. However, that changes this year and we will be getting the Galaxy Note 7. Are any of you currently using a Galaxy Note at all? Are you planning on upgrading?

You do realise Samsung haven’t used plastic in their last 2 smartphone generations right? The S6 & S7 are two glass panels and a metal bezel…

That’s cool, everyone has their preferences. I just don’t get why you’d make a completely uninformed comment trying to take a dig at the company. If you’re that uninterested in the phone or Samsung then why even bother reading the article?

Frankly I have never used a phone without a really high-quality case. Metal, glass, plastic makes no difference. I don’t much care what the phone looks like, since it is always covered. I do care about what it can do. My phone is my portable computer. I need it to be useful. It does not matter who is or isn’t impressed by the phone I buy. I will upgrade when I find a find that is more effecient than the one I have.
