Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming out tomorrow and while digital pre-orders for console gamers will unlock at midnight here in the UK, the PC version of the game will be unlocking a little later on. Square Enix has also detailed exactly what comes included in the game's season pass.
Last week, we got a look at Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's system requirements. Those waiting for the game to unlock on Steam will be able to start playing at 5PM BST, 9AM PDT and 6PM CEST.
As for those who may want the season pass, here is what you can expect:
- Two new story DLC’s.
- The “Assault” and “Tactical” packs, which include various weapons and items.
- 4 Praxis Kits.
- 5000 Credits.
- 1000 Weapon Parts.
- 5 Booster Packs and 20 Chipsets for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Breach.
These two story DLCs are titled ‘System Rift' and ‘A Criminal Pass', one will be coming in Autumn while another will be coming out in the Winter.

KitGuru Says: I don't really get why Deus Ex on PC is having its release planned and treated differently to console. The only reason I can seem to come up with is that Square wanted to avoid some unlocking the game a few hours early with a VPN. Even then though, that doesn't really seem like such a big deal, especially if the game is available on two other platforms. Are any of you planning on playing Mankind Divided on day one?
I don’t play any game on day 1 anymore. I’d have to pre-order for that, and I simply refuse to pre-order anything ever again.
I have to admit that when I unboxed my collectors edition this morning, inspected the contents and figured I’d get down to some gaming… only for Steam to refuse to install from the discs because the game “isn’t available yet” I was pretty pissed off about it. 5PM is pretty much most of the day gone. That’s shit.
While I’m at it, Collectors Editions should include the Season Pass nowadays. The collectors edition was £100, which is more than double the base-game cost (£39.99). The added extras (crappy artbook and statue) are not worth £60. However base game and season pass could’ve been had for £60 on Steam. So, yeah, fucking really? Include the season pass you cheap bastards (publishers).

And I bought and justified that collectors edition because I got Human Revolution for £5 in GAME a few years ago, and the missing link DLC for £5. The Directors Cut was free with the previous two, but I’ve taken so much enjoyment from the games I wanted to contribute a bit more this time.
Yeah this isn’t a great situation for PC players. Especially for those outside of the US, or those who ordered a physical copy like yourself. I’m actually a little surprised more people aren’t calling Square Enix out on it because there is pretty much no ‘good’ reason for them to treat the PC release differently like this.
