Try EGX demos from the comfort of your own home

If you're heading to Eurogamer's Expo at Birmingham NEC at some point over the next few days, we have lots of news to tell you about what's in store when you show up. However for those who aren't able to make it, we'll let you know what's going on too, but more importantly you can try some of the games yourself without having to go anywhere.

Eurogamer has teamed up with Amazon and GameSessions to offer a number of the indie “Rezzed” developers games on a free trial basis. You can try the live-action The Bunker, the 2D-Bayonetta-like Earth's Dawn, colourful side scrolling narrative adventure Hue, the equally vibrant HoPiko and more.

All these games are available to download here, right now, with no stipulations. You don't need to be a Prime Member or order something else – they're just there, ready to play.

This is all part of a larger promotion Eurogamer has running with Amazon. On top of offering free demos of games for those unable to attend EGX itself, those who are heading to show can have consoles, games and anything else they see there delivered to the show if they want to buy their own. Amazon  promises a speedy two hour delivery window.

That service does require a Prime membership unfortunately, but if you're already one and heading to EGX then keep your eyes peeled for anything you might want. If it isn't in stock there, Amazon will be able to get it to you before you leave.

KitGuru Says: We spent the day shaking hands and playing games at EGX yesterday, so look out for our coverage of the event over the next few hours.
