Nvidia's big announcement at CES this year is the RTX 40 Super series, with new RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super graphics cards set to launch over the next couple of weeks. In our latest coverage, Leo swings by Nvidia's CES booth to get a closer look.

Unfortunately due to a technical hiccup we only have a vertical video for the Nvidia booth but if you're interested in learning more about RTX 40 Super, including upcoming custom-cooled versions from board partners, then it is worth the watch.
Nvidia officially announced RTX 40 Super earlier this week. You can see the GPU specs in the table below, compared with each non-Super version:
GPU | CUDA Cores | Memory | Base/Boost speeds | TGP |
RTX 4080 Super | 10240 | 16GB GDDR6X | 2295MHz / 2550MHz | 320W |
RTX 4080 | 9728 | 16GB GDDR6X | 2205MHz / 2505MHz | 320W |
RTX 4070 Ti Super | 8448 | 16GB GDDR6X | 2340MHz / 2610MHz | 285W |
RTX 4070 Ti | 7680 | 12GB GDDR6X | 2310MHz / 2610MHz | 285W |
RTX 4070 Super | 7168 | 12GB GDDR6X | 1980MHz / 2475MHz | 220W |
RTX 4070 | 5888 | 12GB GDDR6X | 1920MHz / 2475MHz | 200W |
There will be some Founders Edition models but the real standout here is the display of board partner cards at Nvidia's CES booth. In the video, we can see new custom-cooled versions, complete with the usual hefty heatsinks. Nearly every board partner is represented here, from Gigabyte, MSI and Asus to companies like Galax and Colourful, all of which have new cards ready to go for launch.
While the RTX 4080 originally launched at $1199, the RTX 4080 Super is launching at $999 instead. The RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super will match the MSRPs of the previous models, coming in at $799 and $599 respectively. The vanilla RTX 4070 meanwhile sees an official price cut to $549, though do note the original 4070 Ti and 4080 will be discontinued in favour of the new Super models.
For those in the UK, Nvidia has confirmed the 4070 Super MSRP at £579, the 4070 Ti Super is £769 and the 4080 Super is £959. Custom-cooled versions will likely go for more than Nvidia's MSRP price.
The RTX 4070 Super will be available starting on the 17th of January. The RTX 4070 Ti Super will hit the market on the 24th of January and the RTX 4080 Super will be available starting on the 31st of January.
