If you remember, Intel is no longer developing NUCs. Asus has bought Intel's division, and since then, it has become the owner of all that's NUC. As the owner of the IP, it was only a matter of time before it developed a gaming NUC under the ROG brand. The time has come, and the product will be revealed at CES 2024.
ASUS has taken on the responsibility of maintaining the current systems and leading the development of the next-generation NUC devices, with one of the upcoming releases expected to be part of the ROG family. Asus has confirmed it will preview its upcoming ROG NUC at CES 2024 through a teaser.

The teaser for the ROG NUC reveals some similarities to Intel's NUC 12 Enthusiast design, codenamed Serpent Canyon. This model features Intel's Arc A770M graphics and the 12th Generation Core Alder Lake mobile processor.
The NUC variant represents an entirely new form factor for smaller gaming PCs. This sector has seen intense competition in recent years, primarily due to strong integrated graphics and more efficient discrete graphics designs. The ROG NUC system is expected to replace the NUC 13 Extreme, the last gaming NUC developed by Intel, before transferring the IP to Asus.
