Dark Souls 3 is getting a dedicated PvP zone

Dark Souls 3 is getting its first DLC pack later this month titled ‘Ashes of Ariandel' and aside from taking players to an icy new world, it will also introduce a new dedicated PvP arena. While PvP is present in Dark Souls 3 already thanks to game invasions, there hasn't been a specific multiplayer-only area since the original game, so this may be a welcome return.

Right now we don't know exactly how players will access the PvP zone but covenants appear to be involved somehow judging by the DLC's trailer, which you can find below: [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg5ZCqsh66E']

This PvP zone will allow for 1v1 or 3v3 battles. However, that's not all this DLC will be offering, it also introduces a new world called Ariandel, which will feature plenty of PvE content like new bosses and weapons. Essentially, it'll be more Dark Souls.

Ashes of Ariandel launches on the 25th of October, so if you're itching to get back in to Dark Souls 3, then that date may be worth marking down.

KitGuru Says: I played through quite a bit of Dark Souls 3 on the Xbox One. With this new DLC coming out, it might be time for me to grab it on PC and have a proper playthrough. How many of you played through Dark Souls 3? Are you going to pick up the new DLC?
