Totally Accurate Battle Simulator now in open alpha

If you spend any of your time watching Youtubers game or Let's Play their way through various titles, then chances are at some point in the past few months you stumbled across the Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. If you thought it looked like a lot of fun, now you can have a play with it too, as the developer, LandFall, has begun the open alpha, making it available to anyone who gets in touch.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (T.A.B.S.) is a humorous, physics driven title, that sees you pit ragdoll humanoids against one another, with various load outs of weapons and additional items, before watching them beat the crap out of each other. There is a single player series of armies to beat, as well as a sandbox mode and both feature new units, terrain and maps in the latest update. Developed by LandFall, the Swedish studio behind previous titles like Clustertruck, Air Brawl and Nuclear Business, T.A.B.S. has proved very popular with streamers, so seems likely to do well when it eventually goes on sale. If you want to have a play of its alpha, all you have to do is get in touch. Visiting the T.A.B.S. page gives you an email address form, completing which sends the alpha straight to you.

LandFall confirms on the page that anyone who signs up will get a copy, though it does only support Windows right now. It's entirely free, though LandFall isn't quite sure what it will price the full game at when it eventually releases in 2017.

KitGuru Says: This game has a lot of potential, especially if they can continue to work on performance, so there is the possibility of greater and greater battles amongst those dastardly reds and blues.
