HyperX Alloy FPS Mechanical Keyboard Review

Rating: 9.0.

HyperX have been making a concerted push into the peripheral market over the last couple of years. Initially, they limited themselves to headsets, and quickly built up an excellent reputation thanks to their Cloud and Cloud II devices. Today, however, we are looking at HyperX's first foray into the world of mechanical keyboards.

HyperX were keen to show off their new keyboard, the Alloy FPS, so I actually went down to their offices in London for a demonstration. The name ‘Alloy' refers to the steel alloy the keyboard's frame is made from, which gives it a very sturdy feel. In this review, we go over the included accessories, build quality, and day-to-day use with the keyboard before giving our final verdict.
