Corsair has launched a new CPU cooler, the A115 Twin Tower CPU Air Cooler. This new model is designed to handle the high temperatures generated by the latest Intel and AMD CPUs, with Corsair marketing it as the “most powerful and efficient air cooler” ever produced by the company.
The A115 is equipped with six 6mm heat pipes and a copper cold plate, making it capable of supporting CPUs with up to 270 W TDP. Its slightly convex cold plate design increases contact with the CPU, resulting in optimal heat transfer. Additionally, the cooler features 90 nickel-plated cooling fins that provide a large 1.69 m² surface area, ensuring quick and efficient heat dispersion. Moreover, it also features the HoldFast 2.0 Retention System to ensure a secure fit.
This cooler comes with two AF140 Elite fans that incorporate AirGuide technology and anti-vortex vanes, offering focused airflow. These fans can reach 1,600 RPM while producing only 33.9 dBA of noise. To mount the fans, Corsair created a smaller slide-and-lock fan mount system with a tool-free ratcheting mechanism to adjust the mounting height easily and increase DRAM compatibility.
To make the installation process even more accessible, the cooler is pre-applied with Corsair XTM70 thermal paste, while it's compatible with Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5/AM4 sockets. The Corsair A115 Twin Tower CPU Air Cooler will start to be shipped on January 22nd and cost £99.99/€114.90.
