The Galaxy S8 might end up ditching the headphone jack but it looks like Samsung may want to distract you from that fact with a prettier, true edge-to-edge display. Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S8 either in February or March 2017 and according to reports this week, one of the big selling points will be an “all-screen design”.
According to sources speaking with Bloomberg, the Galaxy S8 will remove the physical home button and instead have a display that takes up the entire front of the phone, right up to the very edges.
We don't know how accurate this rumour might be, but smartphone companies are notorious for not being able to keep a secret, especially as we get closer to release. Aside from that though, we can expect Samsung's next flagship to feature USB Type-C, along with a brand new AI assistant to take on Siri. The AI was developed by a firm called ‘Viv', which Samsung acquired earlier this year.
KitGuru Says: 2017 is going to be a tricky year for Samsung but as long as the Galaxy S8 launch impresses and doesn't go horribly wrong, then perhaps the company will be able to move on from the Note 7 fiasco relatively quickly. What do you guys think of all the recent Galaxy S8 rumours?
I am not sure how I feel about this. One of the reasons I got a Samsung Galaxy S phone was because of the buttons off of the screen which did not take up screen space. I came form a Sony Xperia ZL phone before that and that was a great phone I still have it and use it for music playback and videos in the car but it used to bug the heck out of me with the buttons in the screen that would take up space. I guess of they do it right and when they say a certain screen size you actually always have that 100% of the time then I am good with it.

On tuesday I got a great new Land Rover Range Rover from having earned $8752 this last four weeks.. Its the most-financialy rewarding I’ve had.. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive yourself if you don’t check it

The amount of times a tiny bit of my finger/thumb is touching the screen on my s6 edge, this phone would be hell for me. I wouldn’t able to hold it at all unless its just resting on my palm only which would just be silly.
