Now that Kaby Lake desktop processors are officially available at retail, it is time for motherboard makers to start pushing out their new Z270 designs. To celebrate the launch of the Z270 platform, MSI is offering up a free M.2 NVMe SSD with some of its new GAMING series motherboards to help boost your new build.
From today, those who pick up a Z270 GAMING M5 or Z270 GAMING M7 motherboard will also get a 256GB Intel 600p M.2 NVMe SSD bundled while stocks last. Your shiny new SSD will pair well with MSI's new boards too thanks to the M.2 shield now included on Z270 motherboards.
Buyers will need to claim the SSD offer directly from MSI in order to take advantage, which you can do at the redemption website, HERE.
Those in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine will be eligible for this, so if you also need an SSD for your new build, it may be worth considering an MSI Z270 motherboard.
There are some terms and conditions to be aware of. You will need to claim ten days after your purchase date, it will take seven days to approve your claim and once approved, you should receive your SSD by the 15th of the following month. Stocks are limited per participating retailer, so this offer won't be around forever.
KitGuru Says: If you were planning on buying a motherboard upgrade, then why not also get a free SSD while you're at it. Are any of you making the jump to Z270 soon? Which motherboard are you planning on buying?
