Bethesda soft launches The Elder Scrolls: Castles for mobile platforms

After the success of Fallout: Shelter, Bethesda hopes to replicate it with a similar game set in The Elder Scrolls universe. Named The Elder Scrolls: Castles, it is the third phone game in the fantasy series, after 2020's The Elder Scrolls: Blades.

The new title, developed by the Fallout Shelter team, allows users to create dynasties, choose kingdoms and castles, and manage them. One thing worth noting is that every day in the real world corresponds to a year in-game, inciting to come to log in to the game daily.

The ruler of a kingdom is responsible for training citizens, identifying potential heirs, and maintaining order to ensure the realm's prosperity. Your goal will be to keep your people happy while securing the long life of their leader. Your decisions will determine whether your reign will be prosperous or a disaster. To achieve your objectives, you must build your castle from the ground up, construct and extend chambers, install decorations and monuments, and assign subjects to workstations. As you progress, you can create heroes, equip them, and send them into combat against iconic Elder Scrolls characters to earn treasures and expand your empire.

The Elder Scrolls: Castles is currently only accessible in the Philippines. Players in other countries may pre-register for the game's progressive release on Android and iOS in the coming months.
