Cisco’s Spark Board collaborative 4K screen uses Nvidia Jetson

Cisco has debuted a new collaborative, multi-touch display, that runs at 4K resolution and sends everything you to do to your colleague's devices. Called the Spark Board, it's designed to replace conference room displays, white boards and phones all in one and it packs a Nvidia Jetson TX1 board under the hood.

The Spark Board works with finger touches and styluses, letting users draw directly onto the screen, move items around or hand write if needed. Anything performed on the display is then automatically mirrored to other devices, letting your colleagues in the same room copy down what you're doing and those working remotely see exactly what you want them to.

The 55 inch display (also available in 70 inch model) operates at a 4K resolution for ultimate clarity and has a slimline profile, despite being such a monstrous size. It also has 12 built in microphones and speakers, letting you run a conference call through the display without any additional hardware. For video conferencing, the Spark Board has a built in 4K camera too.

All of this is powered by Nvidia's Jetson TX1 embedded system. It features 256 CUDA Cores, outputting up to one TFLOP of peak performance and runs Cisco's own brand of Spark Board operating system.
