It looks like From Software is starting to wrap up its time on Dark Souls 3 as the final DLC for the game, titled ‘The Ringed City' will be launching on the 28th of March, almost a year after the base game initially came out. Bandai Namco has already uploaded a trailer for The Ringed City, giving us a brief look at what to expect in Dark Souls 3's send off.
The DLC will be coming to all platforms on the 28th of March and will cost $14.99 if bought separately from the $24.99 season pass. As you would expect, season pass owners won't need to pay extra, so the DLC should just automatically download and install at launch. [yframe url='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezosSMzPdNQ']
The Ringed City is set to introduce some new characters and will focus on Slave Knight Gael. New weapons, magical abilities and armour will also be making an appearance, though you'll need to wait for the DLC to drop to get a glimpse of those.
Dark Souls 3 was the fastest selling game in the franchise and will also be the last for director Hidetaka Miyazaki, who confirmed last year that he would be moving on to new IP.
KitGuru Says: I have been meaning to jump into Dark Souls 3 for a long time now. Perhaps I'll get around to it once the final DLC has launched. Are any of you guys going to come back to Dark Souls for its final expansion?
