Razer Blade 14 updated with Kaby Lake and GTX 10-series graphics

The Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop has won plenty of awards over the years for its sleek design and high performance. Now this year, it looks like the laptop is getting a performance bump with a move up to Intel Kaby Lake processors, GTX 10-series graphics and new 4K display options.

The new Razer Blade 14 gets bumped up to Intel's latest Kaby Lake Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor with a 3.8GHz boost clock speed. We also see the GTX 970m switched out for a 6GB GTX 1060, which is quite the upgrade.

Memory speeds are bumped up to 2400MHz now and you get two display options, a full HD IPS panel or a 4K Ultra-HD one with capacitive touch capabilities. The 4K option replaces the previous 3200×1800 IGZO panel that you could configure the Blade with.

The Blade will be available in the usual 256GB, 512GB and 1TB SSD options with prices starting at $1899 in the US and £1799 in the UK. The 2017 Blade 14 will be available from the 20th of February.

KitGuru Says: As a previous MacBook Pro owner, the Razer Blade has always caught my eye more than any other Windows laptop. Do any of you currently own a gaming laptop?
