SpeedLink Quinox Gamepad Review

main13.jpg
Rating: 7.0.

SpeedLink are continuing to focus on gaming peripherals with their new Quinox gamepad. Priced at around the £50 mark, the Quinox features several extra buttons when compared with a traditional gamepad (like an Xbox 360 controller), as well as a OLED display which lets you tweak things on-the-fly. Could it be an option if you are looking for a new gamepad?

With 6 programmable buttons, as well as control over things like analog stick sensitivity, and up to 2 user profiles, the SpeedLink Quinox gamepad has a number of features that typical gamepads do not have. Whether it is worth the £50 asking price is another thing though – so we put the Quinox to the test to find out if it is worth buying.

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation

Black Ops 6 is officially here, bringing the innovative new Omni-movement system to the game. While on the surface a relatively simple change, I argue that Treyarch intimately studied DOOM and the past 30 years of first-person shooter evolution to craft one of the most satisfying gameplay systems yet.

  1. In an era of RGB lighting, I’m amazed the lighting is static red.

  2. I recently picked up a Steam Controller and hard case for £27 in a Christmas sale and I’ve persevered with it and I’m definitely swaying towards the darkside. It’s hard work to start with but stick with it and I mean a good month of solid use and it opens up a whole world of possibilities, Elite Dangerous for example all from one pad with buttons to spare is awesome. Plus regular stuff like Rocket League is super responsive.

  4. Thank goodness for that. Who would want a flashing controller in their hand while trying to play the game it would be distracting I am sure.

  5. Who said anything about flashing? And it’s hardly like the RGB range from Ducky and Corsair are considered “distracting”…

  6. Maybe it is just me but a pulsing light in my hand would be distracting. Then again like most other RGB stuff you probably have the option to turn it off so problem solved for those that don’t want or like it.

  7. I have profited $104k in last twelve months by working on-line from home and I was able to do it by working in my own time for 3 or sometimes more hrs each day. I followed a money making opportunity I came across online and I am excited that i was able to make such great money. It’s user-friendly and I’m so grateful that i found it.
