Ghost Recon Wildlands’ PC requirements are nicely detailed

Ghost Recon Wildlands is coming out in just a few weeks but before you head into the desert to take down the drug cartel, you may want to check you have the right tools for the job. Ubisoft has revealed Ghost Recon Wildland's full PC system requirements, giving you recommended specifications for running the game at 720p and 1080p.

Those looking to achieve a smooth frame rate at 720p with low graphical settings will need to meet the following spec:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-4320 @ 4 GHz or equivalent
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX660/GTX750Ti/GTX 950 /GTX1050 or AMD HD7870/R9 270X/R9 370X/RX 460 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)VRAM or more – See supported List */**
  • SYSTEM RAM: 6GB

If you are looking to play at high graphical details at 1080p, then you will need to meet this spec:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7- 3770 @ 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4 GHz
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX970/GTX 1060 or AMD R9 290X /R9 390/RX480 (4GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better) – See supported List */**
  • SYSTEM RAM: 8GB

Finally, Ubisoft has revealed a list of supported graphics cards. On the AMD side, the Radeon HD 7000 series, R9 200 series, R9 300 series, RX 400 series and Fury series GPUs are supported but there is a minimum level. Ubisoft recommends you have at least an HD 7870, R9 270x, R9 370x or an RX 460.

On the Nvidia side, the GTX 600, 700, 900 and 10-series are all supported. You will want at least a GTX 660, GTX 750Ti, GTX 950 or any GTX 10-series GPU for this particular game. If you are looking to try out the open beta in a few days time, then you can preload Ghost Recon Wildlands right now.

KitGuru Says: It looks like Ghost Recon Wildlands should run on a fairly wide range of hardware. The 1080p specs certainly seem reasonable enough for a high-detail open-world title. Are any of you planning on playing Ghost Recon Wildlands? I think it could make for a fairly good co-op game if you have the group for it.
