Owlchemy Labs, the developer behind early break out virtual reality title, Job Simulator, has announced that its upcoming Rick and Morty game, Virtual Rick-ality, is going to be shown off for the first time at PAX East 2017 between the 10th and 12th of March. It also highlighted a short teaser trailer released in mid-2016, which shows the player hanging out in Rick's garage, with a plumbus.
Originally announced in July 2016, several months before Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, announced his own VR development studio, Virtual Rick-ality does feature the voices and creative input of Roiland. No real announcement has been made about what the game is about, but if we had to guess, we'd say it will take players to all sorts of dimensions and worlds, thanks to Rick's ever handy portal gun.

In the short teaser for the game, we see the player, presumably Morty, hanging out in Rick's garage, where there are a number of references to the show. There's a plumbus, an image of a Mr Meeseeks turned into a “Youseeks ball,” Rick's hip flask and a box of “time travel stuff,” among others.
The game is being published by Adult Swim games and is expected to launch later this year.

KitGuru Says: Rick and Morty seems like a great fit for VR. Multiple dimensions, silliness that could be canon and various adult humour themes. Colour me excited.
next up, roy simulator?
