Asus, MSI, Zotac, Inno3D and EVGA all teasing new custom GTX 1080Tis

The Founder's Edition of the GTX 1080Ti is already available for pre-order directly from Nvidia but there are plenty of people out there who prefer custom-cooled solutions. Fortunately, it looks like there are plenty of them on the way, with Asus, MSI, Zotac Inno3D and EVGA all announcing their own custom GTX 1080Ti designs with beefier coolers and out of the box overclocks.

As you can see in the gallery above, each of these companies have already begun showing off their new custom GTX 1080Tis. Asus, MSI, Zotac and Inno3D are sticking to fairly similar cooler designs to what is currently being used on the GTX 1080 as far as we can tell from these images. However, there have likely been a few design tweaks that we will learn more about when these cards become available.

The most obvious change from current designs appears to be EVGA's new FTW3 cooler, which has opted for a triple fan design rather than the companies traditional dual-fan one. This is part of the company's new ‘ICX' range too, which has a larger focus on user tweaking to gain optimal results. Pricing and availability for all of the GPUs listed here is still up in the air but hopefully we will start to see custom GTX 1080Tis roll out later this month.

KitGuru Says: Are any of you guys planning on picking up a GTX 1080Ti at all? I must admit I'm a bit tempted myself as I need a bit of a boost when playing at 4K resolution.

  3. Frick these companies had a year almost to make a ton of cards yet they ran out in 45 minutes yep sounds kind of fishy to me also.

  4. Nope no plans for this card when I had the money for it Nvidia didn’t want. They wanted to either sell me a over priced version of this card or the fairly weak 1080 standard edition. Which would have been a big down grade from my current two cards and I was not willing to buy two of them costing $2000 CAD just to upgrade.
