Mass Effect Andromeda video shows off new combat, system requirements released

Mass Effect Andromeda is coming out very soon, which means it is time for Bioware to start unveiling new gameplay, alongside other important details like PC system requirements. Not only has a new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer dropped this week, but now we also know what hardware we are going to need for a smooth experience on PC.

At minimum, you are going to need a system with an Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350. You'll need 8GB of RAM, a GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850 as well as 55GB of storage space. If you want to turn the settings up, you are going to need a Core i7 4790 or AMD FX-8350, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 or RX 480.

If you want to know a bit more about what to expect from Mass Effect Andromeda's combat and squad changes, then you can check out the gameplay video above, which shows off the seven combat profiles: Soldier, Engineer, Adept, Sentinel, Vanguard, Infiltrator, and Explorer. Each class comes with individual skills and bonus abilities and each squad member will two passive skills and three active ones.

KitGuru Says: Mass Effect: Andromeda is starting to look quite good, so I am being cautiously optimistic about it. How many of you are planning on buying Mass Effect Andromeda next month? Is your rig up to the task?

  1. I’m a huge ME nerd, but I’m going to wait until after it’s released to see how stable it is, they’re priority is console so I’m skeptical it’ll be polished on PC.
