The co-op survival action RPG Enshrouded was released on Steam Early Access just last week and is already a success. The game has sold over a million copies in just four days, and although it's not on the same level as Palworld, it's still remarkable.
Now available on Steam, Enshrouded offers both solo and co-op modes, with up to 16 players allowed in each session. Players can explore a vast world, battle fierce enemies, construct grand structures, and build to their hearts' content.
Enshrouded has reached OVER ONE MILLION PLAYERS!!
In just four days, Enshrouded has attracted over a million players. We are completely blown away by its success and the overwhelmingly positive reception. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all our players. pic.twitter.com/bIWgQ5Gn5e

One of the game's most impressive features is its voxel-based construction mechanism, similar to Minecraft's. This technology allows players to design massive structures with an extensive range of materials and furnishings. Even more fascinating is that Enshrouded has its own engine (Holistic Engine). The game is not powered by Unity or Unreal Engine 5, but it still looks stunning. Keen Games sure deserves some praise for what they've created.
Currently, the game is in early access, and Keen Games plans to fully release it within a year. The game's Early Access version includes all basic gameplay mechanics, and the team intends to improve and introduce new gameplay features during this phase. Additionally, they plan to expand the world dramatically.

KitGuru says: Have you already tried Enshrouded? Given all the hype around Pal World recently, it is nice to see another indie studio rise to the top of Steam's charts too.
