Scythe is updating the Mugen series with a new set of coolers. The new Mugen 6 series will include two models: the Mugen 6 (SCMG-6000) in silver with a single fan and the Mugen 6 Dual Fan Black Edition, sporting an all-black look with dual fans.
The Scythe Mugen 6 and Mugen 6 Black Edition CPU coolers include a 6-heat pipe design, a sleek black E-coating, and a sophisticated H.P.M.S. V mounting system to make installation easier. Furthermore, it employs an Offset Zero-Interference design for increasing compatibility across several platforms.
Both versions have Wonder Tornado 120 PWM fans (1 for the SCMG-6000, two for the SCMG-6000DBE), with a frame optimised for static pressure. They have a variable rotation speed of 350 ± 200 rpm to 2,000 ± 10% rpm, allowing them to move up to 60.29 CFM of air at a maximum noise level of 26.88.8 dBA. The static pressure varies from 0.49 to 24.03 Pa (0.05 to 2.45 mmH2O). The Mugen 6 is 132mm wide, 106mm deep, and 154.5mm tall, weighing 1.013kg. The Mugen 6 Black Edition is 132mm wide, 132mm deep, 154.5mm tall, and weighs 1.197kg.
These coolers are compatible with the Intel LGA2066/2011 (V3)/1700/1200/115x platforms and AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets. Each product comes with 1g of thermal grease and an application spatula, and a Y-shaped cable is also provided for the dual-fan model for connecting the fans.
