AMD’s latest Radeon driver is packed with improvements for Dirt 4

Codemasters have returned this week with the launch of Dirt 4 and to mark the occasion, AMD's engineers have been optimising away to make sure Radeon GPU users have the best experience possible. This driver version in particular can improve performance by around 20 percent.

Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.6.1 aims to improve both single GPU performance and multi-GPU scaling for those with an extra GPU in their rig. At a glance, this driver version improves Dirt 4 performance by up to 18 percent on the Radeon RX 580 at 1080p, compared to driver 17.5.2.

For crossfire users, you can expect up to 94 percent better performance with this driver when using multiple RX 580s at 1440p.

This new driver version is available now, so if you are planning on picking up Dirt 4, make sure you have this installed for the best performance.

KitGuru Says: The patch notes for this one were fairly short but it gets the point across. Are any of you planning on grabbing Dirt 4?
