While roaming the halls of Computex this year, we had a chance to catch up with 8Pack, who was at Gigabyte's booth showcasing an all-new monster rig. His latest build was showcased inside a modded Lian-Li chassis and was powered by Gigabyte Aorus hardware, including a Z270 motherboard and three GTX 1080Tis in SLI.
This particular build is a variation of the 8Pack Infin8 system, which is available at Overclockers UK. The one on show here features an Intel Core i7-7700K, Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 RAM, a Samsung 960 Polaris NVMe 512GB SSD, a Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SSD and a WD Black 2TB HDD. There are three GTX 1080Tis inside, with a Superflower 2000W 8Pack Edition PSU supplying power to the whole thing.
As you can see, some modifications have been made to the Lian-Li 011WXC PC case to help incorporate all of the liquid cooling, including the dual chamber reservoir at the front.
KitGuru Says: So far, Computex has been great for announcements but there are also plenty of really awesome PC builds floating around. I'm sure we'll see a few more before the week is done.
SLi is dead, no-ones obviously told him.
but muh 30% gains!
Yeah but he has to make the PC’s weigh a more because *bicep curls*.
People take no notice of single card show PCs 😉
Yup, they’re just for the 3DMark nutters now 😉
