With Computex drawing to a close, our team on the ground have been making their way around the last few booths, looking for something tasty. Thermaltake did not disappoint as we saw some new tempered glass cases, as well as watercooling gear and RGB PSUs.
Starting with the cases, we saw a lot of other Core cases that have been around for a while, but it is the View series which is new. Here we have a variety of tempered glass units, including the View 91, the View 71, the 31 and 21. The bigger product code indicates a bigger (and more expensive) chassis.
Elsewhere, RGB lighting has come to Thermaltake's power supplies via the ToughPower Grand RGB series. These come in a range of capacities and efficiency ratings, with a 1500W 80+ Titanium unit being the pinnacle. The RGB lighting comes from a Riing fan in the PSU's body.
Thermaltake continues to expand its liquid cooling gear, and we got a look at a variety of pumps, reservoirs, coolant and dyes, all of which are currently available.
Lastly, Thermaltake has introduced a new patented fitting for PETG tubes. Here's a question; ‘How can you be sure your PETG is pushed fully home and not just most of the way?'
You use the new Pacific M-Pro fitting for PETG tubing. Install the threaded part in the G1/4 union, slide the collar and O ring over the tube, check the tube is flush against the joint, then lock down the collar.
KitGuru says: What do you guys make of the new Thermaltake cases? There is quite a variety of style and sizes so there should be something for everyone.
