E3 is well under way at this point. We've already covered some of the best announcements to come out of Microsoft's conference late last night but Bethesda also had some announcements to make on stage today. Aside from updates on Fallout VR and DOOM VR, Bethesda made two big new game announcements, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and The Evil Within II.
This article focusses on Wolfenstein, if you would like to check out the details for The Evil Within II, you can find them HERE.
Wolfenstein II is being developed by Machine Games, the same team behind Wolfenstein The New Order. The sequel sees the return of BJ Blazkowicz, who is now taking his fight against the Nazis back to the US, where he will pair up with other members of the resistance. You can watch the trailer below:
This game takes place in 1961 and will see you travelling to New York, New Orleans and New Mexico. You will once again have access to an “arsenal of badass guns” as well as new abilities to take on the Nazis and cyborgs.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is releasing on the 27th of October for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
KitGuru Says: I was a huge fan of Wolfenstein The New Order, so I am very excited to step into the shoes of Blazkowicz once again. What did you guys think of Bethesda's E3 announcements this year? Will you be grabbing Wolfenstein later this year?
Trailer comes across as something between a Fallout and a mad psychopathic killing machine. Seriously looking forward to this game.
