Known for its award winning monitors, display specialist AOC has two new entries in its AGON premium gaming line-up. Immersion is at the heart of these screens, with both sporting a bezelless design, a small curvature and 144Hz refresh rate.
The 31.5” QHD AG322QCX and the 27″ Full HD AG272FCX are built for competitive gamers, boasting a 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync, opting for 4 ms GtG response time. The only difference between the models aside from resolution is that the 31.5” includes 2 DisplayPort instead of just the 1 included in the 27”. The rest of the ports are consistent between both, containing 2 HDMI, 1 VGA, 2 USB 3.0 as well as an audio out and microphone in/out.
AOC has packed a bunch of its own features in too, with Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light Mode helping to protect gamers eyes with longer gaming sessions or prolonged use. AOC Shadow Control helps reveal details lost by overly dark or light sections. The company has also implemented a Low Input Lag Mode in an attempt to reduce lag. The AOC Ergo Base is built with posture in mind, allowing for height, tilt and swivel adjustments to fit the user. For extra style, it also packs customisable LED lights, a retractable headset holder and a carrying handle.
Both monitors are readily available with the 27” Full HD currently sitting at £389 and the larger 31.5” setting you back £519.
KitGuru Says: The frameless design seems perfect for those wanting to tag on additional monitors side by side. Do you use multi-monitor set ups? Are you interested in AOC's new line-up?
