While we finally got our first taste of the Vega architecture last week in the form of the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, many are still holding out for AMD's gaming-focussed GPUs to return. The RX Vega has been on the way for a long time now but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel as AMD has confirmed that the RX Vega will be unveiled at the end of July.
It was already widely thought that AMD would be launching the RX Vega at SIGGRAPH 2017 in late July. However, over on the Radeon Twitter account, AMD confirmed its plans:
We can't wait to announce our new Vega products, including RX at this year's #SIGGRAPH – make sure to follow us for more details. pic.twitter.com/LENxuPfj7n

Right now, current rumours suggest that the first custom-cooled Radeon RX Vega graphics cards will start shipping in early August, a little later than AMD's reference GPU launch.
The exact date of AMD's RX Vega announcement is unknown but we do know that SIGGRAPH 2017 takes place from the 30th of July until the 3rd of August. I'd assume AMD will be making its announcement on the first day but you never know.
KitGuru Says: The RX Vega will be here in less than one month's time, which is exciting to finally say. There has been a lot of anticipation and build-up surrounding AMD's Vega launch so hopefully there will be a decent payoff for those that chose to wait.
For me Vega is ,6 Month too late
I’m one of those that couldn’t wait but I still have my fingers crossed for the Vega. I don’t want to see miracles I just want to see a competitive card at a competitive price. I’m not green or red, I’m consumer.
If you can’t wait you just can’t. But AMD is not what I would call late. People keep projecting onto AMD as if they said they would release the consumer Vega 6 months ago. That’s a consumer assumption. AMD never stated that. But you have to do for you what your current needs are.
