Thermaltake’s View 21 is more tempered glass than case

Thermaltake is quite the fan of tempered glass designs on its cases, having unleashed three just a couple of weeks ago. Adding one more to its range, the View 21 Tempered Glass Edition showcases your build in its entirety with a glass panel on both sides.

The View 21 Tempered Glass Edition is a mid-tower variant of its big brother, the View 31 which also sported two glass panels instead of the usual one. Each panel is 4mm thick, unsurprisingly held in place by thumb screws, as is standard on modern cases. The sheer size of them means that none of your build will be hidden so be prepared to go all out on your cable management skills.

To help you with cable management, Thermaltake has included a full length PSU cover, which will likely take the role of hiding cables too as shoving them behind the motherboard is no longer an option if a clean build is what you’re aiming for.

The View 21 natively houses up to 6 storage devices with two 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch mounts, which can be install up to two on the front and four on its right side. Liquid cooling is supported with room for up to a 360mm radiator in the front of the case and a 120mm radiator in the rear. As for air cooling, one 120mm fan is pre-installed in the back with room for five more 120mm fans around the chassis.

The View 21 is expected to launch at the end of the month for a retail price of $70 according to a representative, but this is subject to change.

KitGuru Says: I’m not too bad with cable management but this case would catch me out as I am guilty of placing a number of cables behind the motherboard. Would your cable management be up to scratch for this case? What case do you currently own?
