New trailer shows you can’t trust anyone in Wolfenstein 2

Following on from its take on drama and game shows, Bethesda has released a new cinematic trailer showing what comedy television is like in the wonderful world of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. It’s no wonder that Blazkowicz is on a rampage across Nazi-occupied America when all TV is steeped in political propaganda.

Trust in Brother is another of Bethesda’s live-action trailers, that not only follows on from Liesel and German… or Else!, but will appear within the game itself to build upon Wolfenstein 2’s world. Bethesda released the synopsis for Trust in Brother on its website.

“Sometimes life isn’t easy when you’re Ronnie and you’re always getting caught doing FUN (Following Unlawful Nature) things in Trust in Brother—a heartwarming comedy show for the whole family. Giggle your hearts out as the gluttonous Ronnie gorges on milk chocolate bars. Chuckle until your belt buckles burst as Ronnie dances to degenerate music that threatens to send him into a spiral of drugs, crime, and political deviance. But whenever Ronnie stumbles, his big brother Dale will always be there to catch him—and inform on him to the authorities! With a resounding endorsement from our Beloved Führer himself, you’re in for eine großartige Zeit—a hoot of a time! Trust in Brother is filmed before a live studio audience.”

Trust in Brother won’t be the last cinematic venture to appear before the games release, with Bethesda saying that more videos showing “a glimpse into the world BJ Blazkowicz will be saving from Nazi oppression” aren’t far behind.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will reach PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 27th.

KitGuru Says: I certainly don’t want to be a part of that live studio audience. Unless I’m Blazkowicz, then I’d go anywhere just because I can.. What do you think of the upcoming game? Will you be picking up Wolfenstein 2?
