AOC's latest AGON gaming monitor looks to be a bargain. Hitting the market at less than £230, the AGON by AOC G27G4X offers a 27-inch QHD panel with a 180Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming. Better yet, it also supports HDR.
The 27-inch AOC Gaming Q27G4X has a Fast IPS panel with 2560×1440 resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate, up to 1 ms GtG response time, and Adaptive-Sync support. Moreover, the monitor's 10-bit panel can display up to 1.07 billion colours and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified (also supports HDR 10).
Hearing its customers' input, AGON by AOC installed a better, more intuitive on-screen display, allowing users to adjust their monitor easily. Alternatively, the lightweight AOC G-Menu software can also control the display settings and other AGON gaming devices. Other gaming-related features like the smart crosshair are also present.
The ergonomic stand has many adjustment options, including height, swivel, tilt, and pivot. Still, if that's not enough, the VESA 100×100 support will allow you to mount the monitor on a stand with enhanced ergonomics. Like most modern monitors, it features flicker-free technology and low-blue mode, providing eye comfort throughout long periods. Additionally, the monitor has 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, 2x built-in speakers and a headphone output. The AOC Gaming Q27G4X has a three-year guarantee and will be available this month for £229.99.
