Asus unveils ROG, Prime and TUF Z370 motherboards for Coffee Lake

With Coffee Lake now on the way, it is time for motherboard makers to begin showing off their new Z370 offerings. This week, ASUS has begun showing off its new lineup for Intel’s 8th generation CPUs, including ROG, Prime and TUF gaming motherboards all on the way.

With Coffee Lake, Intel is adding more cores, larger caches and higher clock speeds to the equation. This also means power delivery improvements are on the way with Z370, which is why these new motherboards are required by the latest processors. As usual, the ASUS lineup is impressive, with diverse cast of 15 motherboards right off the bat, giving gamers a ton of choice when it comes to budget and form factor. You can see all of the different boards on the way in the gallery below:

Each of ASUS’s motherboard ranges are geared towards different markets. At the top of the pile, you have the flagship ROG Maximus X, which is geared towards high-end enthusiasts. For those with a lower budget, the ROG Strix motherboard carries many high-end features and will suit the needs of most gamers.

The Asus Prime series is geared towards everyday customisation and tuning, while the TUF series offers the most durability. These motherboards begin rolling out worldwide on the 5th of October. If you need help deciding which board is for you, then Asus have a handy buyers guide available to help.

KitGuru Says: Asus appears to be well prepared for Intel’s Coffee Lake rollout this week. Are any of you planning on upgrading? Are you leaning to any of Asus’s motherboards in particular?
