At Computex earlier this year, we had a chance to swing by the Sharkoon booth to check out some new PC cases hitting the market. At the time, the Sharkoon AI7000 appeared to be the most premium model and this week, it finally launched in several versions- one silent and one with tempered glass, both in four different colours.
The AI7000 Silent comes with pre-installed sound dampening mats on the side panels, which will stop noise bouncing around the case. The Tempered glass version wins in the looks department though, with large, clear windows to show off all the tasty hardware inside.
Inside the case itself you will find sufficient space for a wide range of components. You can fit a PSU and up to there 3.5-inch drives in the bottom of the case, meanwhile you can also fit two 2.5-inch SSDs behind the motherboard tray if you go for the Silent version.
CPU coolers can be a maximum height of 17.5cm and the maximum length of graphics cards can be 38cm. In the front of the case, there is room for a 280mm radiator if you are planning on liquid cooling, One final note pertains to the front panel, which features two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
The Sharkoon AI7000 Silent ATX case is available now in the EU for £79.90.
