Patriot is just making a name for itself in the peripheral market, having released its Viper V570 Gaming Mouse earlier this year. The company is now set to give it the RGB treatment, introducing the Viper V570 RGB Blackout Edition built for FPS and MMO games.
“We are excited to announce the launch of the new addition to our innovative and bestselling Viper V570 RGB laser gaming mouse series. “said Roger Shinmoto, Patriot's Vice President of Product Development. “The unique FPS and MMO hybrid design allows gamers to dominate a wide array of games.”
Its dedicated precision aim button, dubbed a sniper button here, acts as a DPI shift by default, prompting the best accuracy possible in shooters. Similar to its predecessor, you can customise the use of 13 programmable buttons using the Viper software, which is also directly tied to the lighting profiles for custom RGB illumination.
The V570 RGB Blackout Edition’s Avago ADNS-9800 laser sensor offers a maximum DPI of 12,000, which is paired with an adjustable weight system of up to 34.2 grams to ensure that it can tailor to each user’s needs. The Omron switches are built to withstand 10 million clicks, making it perfect for the competitive scene.
The Viper V570 RGB Blackout Edition is available online from the Patriot store and various third-party retailers for $59.99.
KitGuru Says: I’m not sure if I could get used to the placement of the buttons as I have struggled with MMO mice in the past. Are you due for a mouse upgrade any time soon? Does the Viper V570 RGB suit your needs?
