Just last week, a leaked image pointed towards a release date for OnePlus’ new smartphone, with the OnePlus 5T expected to launch mid-November. The handset is all but confirmed at this point, with a yet another image giving a more detailed look at the device.
The picture comes from reliable leaker Evan Blass, whose track record projects that the image is likely credible and one of the final designs that OnePlus has settled on. It echoes a lot of the previous leaks, rumours and speculation, housing a slim-bezel design.

Earlier this year, the OnePlus 5 launched with impressive specs to rival that of premium flagships from Samsung, Apple and Google, however it didn’t opt for the bezel-less design that other models adopted. This was apparently due to resources, which has since been rectified with the OnePlus 5T.
Only the top portion of the render is shown here, leaving more left to see when the handset is expected to be unveiled next month. Although it looks quite different from its predecessor, the specifications are expected to remain relatively similar to the OnePlus 5, while changing the fingerprint sensor placement from the front to the back, a larger 18:9 6-inch screen and perhaps a bigger handset would result in a bigger battery.
KitGuru Says: Despite the stumbles on its launch event, OnePlus released the OnePlus 5 as a flagship killer and mostly succeeded, with devices being out of stock on a frequent basis. If the 5T debuts at a modest price point, I can see the same thing happening again. Are you interested in what the 5T is speculated to offer?
