Over the last year, the Final Fantasy XV team has been hard at work delivering on Hajime Tabata's vision. Episodic DLCs have expanded stories for individual characters, a PC version is on the way with mod support and finally, co-op multiplayer is also coming to the game. The Final Fantasy XV Comrades multiplayer DLC was initially set to launch in October, but after a small delay, a new release date has been settled on.
Final Fantasy XV Comrades is now set to launch on the 15th of November for Xbox One and PS4. From there, it will also be included with the PC version of the game, which arrives in Q1 2018. You can see the trailer for Comrades from TGS below:
In the Comrades DLC, you can invite up to four players to run around the FFXV world with you as their own custom characters. You will be able to play a series of quests, unlock new abilities and meet up with a few of the game's main characters.
The DLC is set between chapter 13 and 14 of the main game, so keep that in mind. You are better off finishing the main story before embarking on this DLC. Comrades is available as part of Final Fantasy XV's season pass but it will also be available as a separate download on consoles. The Windows Edition of the game is said to include all released DLC, so this will be included in that.
KitGuru Says: I'm waiting on the PC version of Final Fantasy XV before finishing the story. I'll be looking forward to hearing whether or not the Comrades DLC is any good though. Are any of you still playing Final Fantasy XV? Will you be hopping back in for this new DLC?
