EVGA launches GTX 1070Ti FTW Ultra Silent GPU

While pricing across the board may be somewhat questionable, there may be a good number of you out there looking for a GTX 1070Ti with a beefy cooler to offer quieter operation. This week, EVGA has launched the GTX 1070Ti FTW Ultra Silent Edition, featuring a new 2.5 slot cooler with the goal of providing decent gaming performance at lower volumes and temperatures.

In terms of specs, this 1070Ti is the same as all the rest. All board partner cards ship with the same out of the box clock speeds, though user overclocking is still possible. With that in mind, EVGA's new GTX 1070Ti should perform the same out of the box as all the others.

Where EVGA's new card does stand out though, is the cooler. The 2.5-slot cooling design packs a huge heatsink underneath the ACX 3.0 dual-fan cooling system. This card also uses a non-reference PCB design, with 10+2 power phases and dual 8-pin power connectors. There are no stats on how well this cooler works just yet, so we'll have to wait for reviews to see that information.

Currently, this card has an MSRP of $499, which brings it into GTX 1080 territory. Still, if you have your heart set on a 1070Ti, then this is another option to add to the pile.

KitGuru Says: Are any of you considering picking up a GTX 1070Ti? What do you think of EVGA's latest version?
