Bayonetta 1&2 are heading to the Switch, Bayonetta 3 is also on the way

With Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now out, we have come to the end of Nintendo's first-year roster of exclusive games for the Switch. Fortunately, 2018 is already looking bright as last night, Nintendo announced that Bayonetta 3 would be coming exclusively to the console.

Bayonetta started out as a multi-platform release. However, in order to help the struggling Wii U, Nintendo joined forces with Platinum Games to bring Bayonetta 2 to life. Now, the two companies will be continuing their partnership with Bayonetta 3. You can see the teaser trailer below:

There is no specific release window for Bayonetta 3 just yet, but given how successful 2017 has been for the Nintendo Switch, this seems like the perfect game to keep the pressure on next year.

That wasn't the only surprise announcement we got last night though. Bayonetta 1&2 are also heading to the Nintendo Switch on the 16th of February. If you skipped the Wii U but jumped on board for the Switch, then you'll be able to catch up on one of the best series currently in Nintendo's roster. Not to mention one of the best games Platinum has ever released.

KitGuru Says: Back when the Switch first launched, there were concerns that there wouldn't be enough great games early on to tempt buyers. That has completely changed over the last six months and 2018 is already looking to be another great year for the system. Hopefully Bayonetta is just the beginning.
