God of War’s March release date is looking increasingly likely

Update (15/1/18): Back in early December, an early Playstation Network store page listing pointed towards a March release date for God of War. Now, the March release date looks even more likely, with a Portuguese retailer listing the game, albeit with a slightly adjusted release date.

In December, PSN listed God of War with a 2nd of March release date. The Portuguese retailer ‘Mega Mania‘ has gone live with its own listing, pointing to a 22nd of March release date. In any case, all signs seen to be pointing to March at this point. If Sony is sticking to this release date, then we should expect an official announcement fairly soon.

Original story (5/12/17): 2018 is looking to be an exciting year for PlayStation 4 owners. Not only do we have titles like Days Gone and Spiderman on the way, but there is a brand new God of War title coming out. Previously, this game was set to release in ‘early 2018' but thanks to the North American PSN store, we now have a more specific date.

As spotted by Dualshockers, the North America PSN store now lists God of War for pre-order. According to the page, the game is coming out on the 2nd of March 2018, which is just a few short months away.

We will likely get confirmation of this from Sony either at The Game Awards show on Thursday, or at the PlayStation Experience press conference later this month.

KitGuru Says: Sony Santa Monica is taking God of War in a brand new direction with this game and judging by the trailers, it is going to be awesome. Are any of you looking forward to God of War next year?
