Cyberpunk 2077 might be making an appearance at E3 this year

Late last week, CD Projekt Red appeared to be up to something, as the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account came back to life for the for the first time since 2013. The tweet swiftly garnered attention and now we have an idea of what it could all be building up to. Reports from Poland this week claim that Cyberpunk 2077 will make an appearance at E3 this year.

CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2013 with a cinematic trailer. Since then, we've heard very little about the game, though we do know that the studio plans to release two Triple A RPGs between 2017 and 2021, with Cyberpunk 2077 being one of them. According to Polish site GRYOnline, we'll finally begin seeing more of Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year, with a new trailer rumored to be shown and a playable E3 demo- though the demo will only be shown behind closed doors.

The site claims to have two independent inside sources feeding them this information, so hopefully this report ends up being accurate. Last week, a YouTuber also pointed out that CD Projekt Red had submitted a tech demo build of the game to Sony in December, so it seems that evidence is beginning to mount up.

E3 will be taking place from June 12th until the 14th this year, so there is still plenty of time for plans to change.

KitGuru Says: If Cyberpunk 2077 does show up at E3 this year, then it will be a very exciting time. These are just rumors for the time being though, so do take this all with a pinch of salt.
