The new Corsair One Elite boasts a liquid cooled Core i7-8700K and GTX 1080Ti

In March last year, Corsair unleashed the Corsair One, an incredible looking small form factor gaming PC. The system is housed in a tiny cuboid chassis, while having enough room for high-end hardware. Now this year, Corsair is launching the One Elite, an updated version featuring Intel's new six-core Coffee Lake processors.

The Corsair One Elite comes packed with an Intel Core i7-8700K, backed up by an all-in-one liquid cooler. This is of course backed up by other high-end PC components, including 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM and a GTX 1080Ti, which has also been liquid cooled. In all, it's an impressive showcase given the size of the whole system. The One Elite also comes with a 480GB M.2 SSD for blazing fast boot speeds and a 2TB hard drive so you have somewhere to store all of your games.

The Core i7-8700K, 32GB of RAM and GTX 1080Ti all come in Corsair's top-end model, which will cost $3000. However, there are cheaper options available. The Corsair One Pro for instance comes in two flavors, one with a Core i7-7700K, a liquid cooled GTX 1080, 16GB of RAM and a 480GB M.2 SSD/2TB HDD combo for $2,299.99. The $2,499.99 Corsair One Pro steps this up to 32GB of RAM.

Bridging the gap between the Corsair One Pro and the One Elite is the new Corsair One Pro Plus, which also comes with a liquid cooled Core i7-8700K and a liquid cooled GTX 1080Ti, but reduces the RAM to 16GB of Vengeance, rather than 32GB. This version comes in at $2,799.99.

Given the current state of the graphics card market, where GPUs are selling at a markup of hundreds of dollars, going for a reasonably priced pre-built system might be the best idea if you are itching to get hold of a high-end system.

In case you're interested- we reviewed the Corsair One Pro last year. You can find that review HERE.

KitGuru Says: I've always been a big fan of ITX-sized PCs, but I don't think I could build something myself that looks as good as the Corsair One. It is certainly an impressive bit of kit. Are any of you currently looking to buy a new PC? Are you considering going with a pre-built due to current prices?
