Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Shock Pro RGB Gaming Headset

The Shock Pro RGB gaming headset is perfect for budget gamers with a retail price of only £35.99. It offers many features such as a 40mm neodymium driver, 256 color illumination with 7 preset colours, a auto-adjusting headband design and a retractable microphone. But is this headset one to avoid or shockingly good value for money?

Microphone Update (25/02/2018): Tt eSPORTS sent us over a second headset in order to retest the microphone. The microphone on this headset is much better than our original sample and is now usable, although it is still slightly quieter than I would like. However the clarity is pretty impressive for such a cheap headset.

Kitguru Says: Overall the Shock Pro RGB headset isn't bad. There's a few things that could be improved and we're waiting to hear back from Thermaltake about the microphone. However it's comfortable to wear and has decent sound quality. If the microphone is improved this headset is a very good option for budget gamers.
