Kolink introduces competitively priced Stronghold & Observatory cases

Kolink has already proven that its cases can dress to impress, balancing aesthetic and features with a competitive price. Keeping with this trend, Kolink introduces its Stronghold and Observatory models, built for those needing extra space and wanting to put it on display.

Both cases support motherboards up to E-ATX, housing support for two 240mm radiators in the front and top, provided the included dust covers are removed first. If air cooling is more your style, then both the Observatory and the Stronghold will fit coolers up to 160mm in height. Larger graphics cards aren’t a problem, either, fitting up to 380mm snug in each chassis.

Keeping things neat, both cases include a PSU shroud, allowing for power supplies up to 200mm long. The storage drive cage is located to the right hand side with two 2.5/3.5” slots. The I/O panel houses two USB 2.0 slots, a single USB 3.0 slot and HD Audio In/Out inputs for headphones and microphones.

Where the models truly differ is the inclusion of unique front panels. The Observatory is aptly named, as it is all about aesthetics. Its 4mm tempered glass front panel backed by its distinct hexagonal pattern showcases three of its four included 120mm RGB fans. The controller and remote are also included.  The Stronghold bucks this RGB trend in favour of a traditional aluminium effect steel front panel, shipping with two standard 120mm fans.

The Kolink Stronghold and Observatory are available to pre-order from Overclockers UK for £35.99 and £62.99 respectively.

KitGuru Says: This is impressive pricing for what Kolink is offering, with the included RGB fans, controller and remote in the Observatory leading to tremendous savings. These types of fans alone would usually cost approximately £60+. What do you think of Kolink’s new offerings? Are you for RGB or against it?
