Over 500 games and apps now use RTX technologies, providing GeForce RTX graphics card owners with a better PC gaming experience. Every week, new blockbuster games and indie releases hit the market featuring DLSS, Reflex, and ray-traced effects, and this week is no different than the others.
One of the latest releases to feature DLSS 2 is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake by Avantgarden SRL and 505 Games. GeForce players can look forward to up to three times faster GPU performance, with frame rates increased by 2.9X on average at 4K with DLSS and all settings maximised. This allows the GeForce RTX to achieve impressive results, with the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super surpassing 100 FPS and the RTX 4090 exceeding 150 FPS.
At 1440p, performance is increased by 2.3X on average, ensuring that all GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs operate at or above 60 FPS, with the GeForce RTX 4090 leading the way at 190 FPS. At 1080p, average performance is increased by 2.1X, making it possible for all GeForce RTX 40 Series players to achieve over 100 FPS at maximum settings.
Nvidia Reflex is also gaining popularity, and many more games are expected to feature this technology by 2024. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Escape from Tarkov: Arena were the latest to adopt the technology, reducing system latency by up to 48% and 36%, respectively. New Reflex gaming mice, including the Alienware Pro wireless, the NZXT Lift 2 Ergo, and the NZXT Lift 2 Symm, are also available. As such, these mice can measure and record end-to-end system latency, from click to game to display, using Nvidia Reflex (alongside a compatible monitor).
