Asus launches new ROG Strix, Prime and TUF series motherboards for H370, B360 and H310

By now, you've likely seen our coverage of Intel's new 8th Gen Coffee Lake processors for desktops, and the launch of three new 300-series chipsets. Now, the influx of new motherboards is starting to roll in, with Asus revealing new ROG Strix, Prime and TUF series motherboards for H370, B360 and H310.

In the ROG Strix series, we see the H370-F, H370-I, B360-F, B360-G, B360-H and B360-I motherboards joining the lineup, which you can see in the gallery above. All of these boards support USB 3.1 Gen 2 and there is optional support for 802.11ac WiFi, giving you some future-proofing in terms of connectivity and networking. All of these boards support Intel Optane Memory, which speeds up loading times on frequently used applications by acting as a speedy cache drive.

In the TUF Gaming and Prime series, we are greeted by the additions of the TUF H370-PRO Gaming, TUF B360-PRO, and Prime H370-Plus motherboards. The TUF series retains its military style, while the Prime series is geared more towards productivity and content creation.

All of the signature Asus features you would expect are present, including DIGI+ VRM circuitry, OptiMem trace routing for improved memory signalling and other smart features like the fan controller, which adjusts system fan speeds based on the temperature of your graphics card.

Asus will be rolling out its H370, B360 and H310 motherboards worldwide starting from today, so expect to see them popping up at retail over the next few days.

KitGuru Says: It has been six months since Coffee Lake first launched, but the lineup is finally complete. Are any of you thinking about upgrading to 8th Gen soon? Do you have your eye on one of these new motherboards in particular?
